Hi, Iā€™m Casey.

I start all therapy from a foundational belief that we are all good people. Many of us have been through difficult times and circumstances that led us to question whether we are okay, safe, good enough, etc. Whether we were consciously aware of these doubts and assumptions, they can nonetheless shape our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. If these doubts and assumptions take on too much power, we may find that they have very strong impacts on our lives. Our genetics, family history, and the cultures we grow up in all provide additional influence, and the combination of these things puts many of us in a bad position. This does not make us bad people who want to be good. It means we are hurting people who want to feel better.

In my own healing journey, I had the benefit of having some exceptional therapists who helped guide my journey and walked beside me on it. No one else could do it for me, but their help made a vital contribution. As a therapist, I strive to provide that same support to my clients as they find their way toward being their best selves.
